Highway directions to the Fitzgerald from the East - Oakland Bay Bridge (Highway 80 Westbound): While on the upper deck of the Bay Bridge, take the first off-ramp in San Francisco from the right lane, Fremont Street. Turn left on Fremont and proceed 2 blocks to Howard Street. Turn left and go 4 blocks on Howard Street to 3rd Street, then turn right. Proceed on 3rd Street across Market Street where it will turn into Kearny Street. Follow Kearny Street 2 blocks, then turn left on Sutter Street. Go 6 blocks to Jones Street. Turn left on Jones Street, go 1 block and turn left on Post Street. The Fitzgerald Hotel is on the left (North) side, on Post between Jones and Taylor Streets. Highway directions to the Fitzgerald from the North - Golden Gate Bridge (Highway 101 Southbound): Proceed across the Golden Gate Bridge (Highway 101 southbound)into San Francisco.Take the Lombard Street exit and proceed on Lombard until Van Ness. Turn right onto Van Ness Avenue. Take Van Ness to Post. Turn left onto Post. The hotel is located at 620 Post on the left hand side between Jones and Taylor. Highway directions to the Fitzgerald from the South Bay - San Francisco Airport (Highway 101 Northbound, Highway 280 Northbound): From Highway 101: take the Seventh Street turnoff onto Bryant Street and proceed 1 block to 6th Street. Turn left on 6th Street and go 5 blocks. Continue across Market Street onto Taylor Street. Proceed on Taylor Street 7 blocks to Sutter Street. Turn left on Sutter and go 1 block. Turn left on Jones and go 1 block to Post, then turn left. The Fitzgerald Hotel is on the left (North) side, on Post between Jones and Taylor Streets. |
