The "Queen of the Ceresio" rest around a magnificient bay, guarded by Monte Brè on the East bank and Monte San Salvatore on the West bank. Facing South, Lugano is much appreciated lakeside resort, highly valued during the in-between seasons (Spring and Autumn). Easily accessible by road or rail, and by air. Lugano-Agno airport is only 10 minutes from down town, whereas the intercontinental airport of Milano-Malpensa is only 45 minutes drive. The Villa Principe Leopoldo & Residence is ideally located on the "Golden Hill", an elegant residential area which dominates the town and Lake Lugano, just 3 Km from the Highway #2's (Basel/Luzern/Lugano/Chiasso/Milan) Lugano Sud Exit and 5 minutes' drive from the main railway station. By air Airport Lugano-Agno, complimentary Limo service on request. Airport Malpensa-Milano, Limos are bookable upon request by the Hotel.
