The Hotel Conca d'Oro is located in the best spot of Positano. We are a lovely three stars hotel in the middle of the village with a few steps to arrive at our door with a breathtaking view overlooking the bay. On the restaurant terrace with sea view, you can taste an excellent cuisine with tipycal local food dishes,and enjoy a romantic candlelight dinner. Half board supplement (dinner) € 30 per person per day. The solarium terrace with sun beds, umbrellas and a mini pool jacuzzi will offer you a relaxing atmosphere. (free of charge) The prices include a discount for long chairs & umbrellas on the little beach. |

| Getting There |
Coming from the North: take the Autostrada A1 until Napoli. Then, after the payment, take the autostrada Napoli-Salerno A3, and go out in Castellammare (immediatly after Pompei exit). Then follow the signs to Penisola Sorrentina - Positano. Then follow the SS 145 to Meta di Sorrento and from there the SS 163 to Positano. When you reach the top of Positano, follow the one way road to the center. After about 700mt you will find on your left hand side “Fratelli Milano Parking” (on payment). Stop there, the porter will help you with the luggage. Coming from the South: take either route SS.163 Amalfitana or the Salerno Naples motorway to Castellammare di Stabia, as above. By train: the most convenient railway station is Napoli Centrale, where on a lower level you can get the Circumvesuviana train to Sorrento, then catch the SITA bus to Positano (Chiesa Nuova), from there the local bus to the hotel (nearby the tabacchi shop). We suggest to book through the hotel a private transfer by limousine from the train station direct to us. By airplane: if you arrive at Naples Capodichino airport, book through the hotel a private transfer by limousine from the airport direct to us. By taxi: we can organize transfer from the airport or the train station to the hotel. |

The hotel organizes transfers to & from Naples airport or train station & excursions to Capri, Amalfi, Emeraldo- Grotto, Pompei etc . Positano represents the perfect point of departure, due to it's central location, for innumerable pleasant excursions to many nice places in the surrounding district. Our area is known around the world for its amazing beauty. Here are some suggestions of places to visit: Full day * Capri & Anacapri * Pompeii & Vesuvius * Paestum * Naples & Herculaneum * Amalfi & Ravello Half Day: * Capri * Li Galli * The Emerald Grotto * Sorrento Positano is not just a perfect point of departure for tours and excursions, but also a village full of activity and life. The houses, one on top of the other, the narrow streets – with the numberless boutiques – descends rapidly between the houses, like floods through the rocky mountain passes, and they all flow out on the main beach “ Spiaggia Grande”. From there it may be the only place where the view behind your shoulders above the village is more beautiful than the view over the sea in front of you. The other small beaches in Positano are Fornillo and Remese to the west, and La Porta, Fiumicello, Arienzo and Laurito to the east. Positano is not only beaches, some other pleasant excursions are those up to the Lattari mountains above the village. After 3 km you will find the village of Montepertuso and Nocelle. From here begins the famous pathway “Sentiero degli Dei” , Pathway of the Gods, with fantastic panoramic views that are unique and unforgettable over the whole coast. You can also decide to climb even higher up to one of the mountains of Sant’Angelo a Tre Pizzi, which forms the highest summits on the peninsula, they reach over 1400 meters. |
