The Hotel del Corso is located in Sorrento, nearby the central Piazza Tasso, 100 mt. from the Train and Bus Station, and only 10 min. walking from the port, where boats leave to Napoli, Capri, and the other islands of the Gulf. Furthermore the beach of Marina Piccola is only 150 mt. Away. The Hotel is at the second floor of an 18th Century historical building (Palazzo De Gregorio), and faces the main street, Corso Italia, and the historical centre of Sorrento. Last Century, the building was private place of residence of the noble family De Gregorio. Today's owners, the Marciano family, transformed it in an intimate and familiar Hotel, trying to keep the original style of the ancient building. The Hotel has been recently restyled; the entrance is at 2nd floor with private lift. All our rooms have private Bathroom with Shower and Hairdryers, Air conditioning with personal remote control to select the temperature preferred, Satellite Sky tv with American, English, German and French channels and direct line Phone for national and international calls |

FROM NAPLES RAILWAY STATION: An hour rail journey from the CIRCUMVESUVIANA station 'Napoli Centrale' or 'piazza Garibaldi'. Catch the train you find at the lower floor, check for the line 'Napoli-Sorrento'. Once you get to Sorrento (last stop ) come out of the station and turn leftt into Corso Italia. Walk along this street as far as Tasso square, straight on and you see the Hotel on your right. The Hotel is on the second floor of an 18th Century historical building (Palazzo De Gregorio) # 134. FROM NAPLES AIRPORT: If you are landing in Naples at Capodichino airport, the easiest and most comfortable way to reach Sorrento is the 'CURRERI' bus line stopping just outside the arrival hall. Departures are at 09.00 - 11.30 - 13.00 - 14.30 - 16.30 - 19.00. The bus will take you in Tasso Square. Once there walk in Corso Italia and you'll find the hotel on your right. You can also get the ANM bus from the Airport straight to Piazza Garibaldi rail station. From there you can catch a train to Sorrento with CIRCUMVESUVIANA.*(Railway station).We can also organize a car transfer from Airport directly here to us at the Hotel. You can contact us for further information. BY CAR: Any direction you are coming from follow the A3 Napoli- Salerno motorway. Look for the sign Salerno/Reggio Calabria- Penisola Sorrentina as far as Castellamare di Stabia exit. After that, drive along the SS145 to Sorrento. Drive past the towns META, PIANO DI SORRENTO and S.AGNELLO as far as Sorrento Piazza Tasso. Once there you have to park your car in one of the nearby car parks and walk in Corso Italia on your left. The Hotel is on the second floor of an 18th Century historical building (Palazzo De Gregorio) # 134. |

We don't have parking, our hotel is located in the historical center of Sorrento which is partly closed to the traffic. Several parking areas in the nearby of the hotel.The car can be parked in the blu stripes until the road is open but there is a paying parking card to use so the easiest thing to do is to go to public pay parking after unloaded the car. We will provide directions. Average cost of 24 hrs parking is around 10 euro. |
