Aneden Motel is located in a quiet residential area that is just 2 minutes drive from the town centre and a 700m walk from the beach. There are 9 spacious self-contained studios to choose from at Aneden Motel, each with private ensuite bathroom and a fully-fitted kitchen. 2 upstairs units offer great views. While staying at our West Coast motel accommodation in Hokitika relax and unwind. A 10 minute walk will take you to the beach where you can marvel at the stunning backdrop of the Southern Alps, with Mt Cook & Tasman in the distance. Walk around the beach sprinkled with driftwood and stones and enjoy a West Coast sunset. The units at Aneden Motel in Hokitika have recently been refurbished so take some time out to enjoy the clean, updated facilities on offer. The complex has a 3.5 Star Qualmark rating. |

Hokitika is a small town and a perfect place to spend your holiday - whether you are here on a quiet break or seeking adventure. The South Westland Heritage Park is situated in the centre of the West Coast and you can take a canoe or boat cruise through the beautiful rainforest. For the adventure seeker there is whitewater rafting, kayaking, heli-skiing, scenic flights. The region is internationally renowned for talented musicians, artists and craftspeople. Arts, crafts, greenstone, glassblowing, water world, Kiwi house at the Eco Centre have all help put Hokitika on the map. When you stay and explore this area you quickly realise why it attracts and inspires so much talent. View Mount Cook from the beach and admire glorious sunsets. Stay a while and explore the local area and use it as a base for half or day trips to Shantytown, The Pancake Rocks or the Glaciers. |
