33 rooms including 1 spa suite and 1 executive room. All rooms are non smoking and serviced daily unless otherwise offered. The Hotel Victor is right in the heart of Victor Harbor over looking Warland Reserve, Granite Island, and the Southern Ocean. The beach is right on our doorstep. We are central and within walking distance to many local attractions, incuding the little penguins on Granite Island, the horse tram, the newly renovated Whale Centre, Discovery Centre and Visitor Information Centre. Browse the many speciality shops in Ocean Street and surrounds. We are a convenient place to stop on your way to or from Kangaroo Island, only an hours drive to the Ferry. K.I.Sealink run day trips to Kangaroo Island picking up and dropping off right at our door. Take a scenic drive through Mclaren Vale, visit the many wineries and their cellar doors, a great place to spend the day, shopping as well, only 25 minutes from Victor Harbor. How about a game or two of golf, 5 quality courses within the area, bookings can be arranged through the Hotel, subject to availability. Also whale watching, the coast here offers many places to view these mighty creatures as they enjoy the safety and shelter of the bays during the season. Victor Harbor is a top place to come and stay all year round, typically cooler in the summer months than Adelaide and a little bit warmer in the winter months. All rooms are on the first floor, we do have a chair lift that operates from the 2nd step, not suitable for people with limited mobility or unable to manage stairs if needed. All rooms are ensuite, T.V, mini bars and tea and coffee making facilities. Room service is available during normal dining times. Breakfast is served in the Encounter Restaurant from 7.30am to 10.00am. Brunch in the V Bar from 8am to 11am. A la Carte dining in our Encounter Restaurant with extensive selection of wines, also a carvery buffet and daily specials. Bar meals are served all day from 12 noon in the V Bar with its sheltered alfresco area, relax and watch the world go by. Poker and quiz nights. Jackpot gaming room, Foxtel free to view in bars and Sip n Save bottleshop. |
