Ideally situated just a few minutes from Montmartre and the world famous Moulin Rouge, not far from the Trinité Church, the Garnier Opera House and the bustling elegant department stores of Printemps and Galeries Lafayette, the Villa Van Gogh is housed in a former mansion house which is reached by a charming private footpath. Did you know that it is right here, about a century ago, that Vincent Van Gogh came to find his brother Theo. The peaceful atmosphere of this private cobble stoned pathway has retained all the charm and emotion that was here long ago. La Villa Van Gogh invites you to share some unforgettable moments whether you love the romance that is so typically Parisian, or prefer the more cosmopolitan and modern style Paris. You are all our privileged guests and we will ensure, wherever possible, that your stay is most enjoyable and your every wish is satisfied. Our 24 rooms have been renovated in 1999 and 2003. They are all equipped with double glazing, satellite television and telephone with plug for a modem. The bathrooms have Carrare marble and are equipped with a hair dryer, electric razor plug and a large choice of toiletries. The Bar, reserved for our clientele, is open at all hours. Unwind with a drink or why not a glass of champagne. The Lounge, relax and enjoy the gentle flow of music in one of the chocolate colour leather armchairs. In the Library you can settles down in a Provencal armchair with a good book and put your feet up in the cosy and peaceful atmosphere. Montmartre - Sacré Coeur Opera Garnier Grands Magasins (Galeries Lafayette, Printemps...) Moulin Rouge Walking up rue Fontaine in the north you will find out some of the most famous theatres and cabarets of the capital. Those of you who enjoy the nightlife will be spoilt for choice, the number of Parisian "soirées" is limitless with Bus Palladium, la Loco, la Nouvelle Eve, l'Elysée Montmartre, to name but a few. A little further away the mythical and celebrated facade of the Moulin Rouge will remind you that Paris will always be the "City of Light". Take the rue Lepic and Montmartre, the bistrots, the Place du Tertre, the painters and the Sacré-Coeur and you will understand why there is no other place like this in Paris. |
