The Hotel Mediterraneo, next to the Big Harbour of Syracuse, is situated in a quiet area just between the Ortyge Island and the Archaeological Park. It takes only 10 minutes by foot to reach the historical centre of Ortyge. The location is strategic, as it is possible to easily reach the main tourist places around the area. Besides, the Railway Central Station is only 200 mt from the hotel and trade centres are within reach. The hotel is just renewed and offers 9 well-furnished and well-fitted rooms, equipped with air conditioning; telephone, bathroom with hair-dryer, safety and all the modern comforts. Some of them have also a little balcony facing the sea. An Internet Point is at disposal of our guests. The hotel offers to our guest a delicious continental breakfast included in the price. BY PLANE: From International Airport of Catania it's possible to reach Syracuse by bus and taxi. BY CAR: From North/Catania: Siracusa is far only 45 minutes, through the S.S. 114 Catania-Siracusa (Orientale Sicula), exit 'Siracusa Sud' From South/Ragusa: From S.S. 115 exit 'Siracusa Sud' and then straight on until Hotel's signs. BY TRAIN: The Hotel is far just less than 5 minute walking from the Railway Station. |
