| Things To Do |
Visit Shear Outback, Australia's shearers' hall of fame. Shear Outback is an innovative new interpretive centre with interactive experiences for all ages. You can also visit Hay Gaol Museum with its diverse collection of artefacts showcasing the history of Hay. The complex has had many uses since it was built in 1878. There is also Bishop's Lodge Historic House and Heritage Rose Garden. Bishop's Lodge is an 1888 iron house designed to combat the region's extreme climate. Other things include Hay's John Houston Memorial swimming pool with FREE entry to all, visit Hay Railway station, built in 1882 or fish for the mighty cod in the Murrumbidgee river. |
