La Villa Mazarin is located in the heart of the fortified city of Aigues-Mortes, 5 minutes away from the beach and was built at the end of the XV century. It has 20 luxurious bedrooms with Air conditioning, heating, satellite TV, telephone and fridge. All rooms are furnished in 17th century Provençale style. On the ground floor a large salon is opening onto our conservatory courtyard and sun terrace. Our pool room opens onto the garden with the following facilities: large heated pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, massage room, fitness area. An indoor 20 space car park is available at 10 € per day. The reception closes at 8p.m during the low season. IMPORTANT - PLEASE NOTE THAT WE CANNOT ACCEPT CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF SIX IN THE HOTEL FOR SECURITY REASONS WITH THE SWIMMING POOL. |

Suite are in the main building "La Maison". This comfortable room has 2 Queen size beds, its bathroom has a bathtub with a separate showercabine.Up to 4 people per room.Children under the age of 6 are not accepted. Non smoking room. Rates are for 2 people. Extra adults €50.00. Extra children €50.00. The room caters for a maximum of 4 adults, and a maximum of 3 children but cannot exceed 4 guests in total. | Getting There |
Most international flights arrives in Paris at either Roissy-Charles de Gaulle or Orly Airport. Flying to Montpellier is the easiest way to Aigues-Mortes. There are flights almost every hour from Paris, you shouldn’t have a problem finding one which suites you, Air France/KLM is the major carrier and also low cost airlines such as Ryanair. • Montpellier-Méditerranée Airport (tel :++33 (0)4 67 20 85 00) is located just West of Montpellier which is about 20 km from La Villa Mazarin Aigues Mortes. There are plenty of taxis on your arrival. The ride takes about 25 minutes and costs about 50 euros. • If you are driving from the airport you take the direction of “La Grande Motte” and “Le Grau du Roi” (road D62).Stay on this dual carriageway, you will see the sign for Aigues-Mortes. As you are arriving, you will come to a roundabout with a Big Flamingo made of metal, here you take the first turn right, (signposted Aigues-Mortes) and you are just a few minutes away from La Villa Mazarin which is located within the old fortress town. As you pass over the canal you drive straight ahead with the ramparts on your right. pass the first entrance and turn right through the second entrance and you are then in Boulevard Gambetta (a one way street) go straight down and near to the end on the left hand side you will see the arches of La Villa Mazarin. | Things To Do |
One of the largest natural beaches "Espiguette" is 10 to 15 minutes away. Inside the city of Aigues-Mortes we have a large variety of restaurants and shops providing regional and local products famous for its wines, asparagus "on the sands", ancient harvesting of reeds and the culture of salt from the Salins du Midi. Possibility to visit the famous Listel cellars(sand wine)Visit of the Camargue canals on request + discovery of the swamps (bird watching) Golf course only 10 mn away. Within 15 to 45 minutes drive there are the historic towns of Arles, Avignon, Orange, Nimes, Uzes, Montpellier, Aix-en-Provence and the Roman aquaduct of "Pont du Gard". |
