The hotel was completed in July 2008 with the final of its 6 Floors coming on line, although it has been operating in a partial "soft-opening" phase prior to this. The 6th Floor has 16 Deluxe rooms each offering sweeping views across the city and state of the art fittings and appliances. The City of Ipswich is just 40 km from the Brisbane CBD. Metro Hotel Ipswich International is located at 43 South St (cnr Foote Lane) opposite Ipswich City Council Building. Leaving Brisbane Airport turn left onto the Gateway Motorway. Follow the Gateway Motorway over the Gateway Bridge and turn right onto the Logan Motorway. Stay on the Logan Motorway until you come to the T intersection where the Logan & Ipswich Motorways meet. Turn Left. Follow the Ipswich Motorway into Ipswich. Turn left into Nicholas Street and then take the first left onto South Street. The Hotel is located 30 metres up on your left hand side. |
