| Things To Do |
If it's been a while since you've ventured into Western Australia's oldest wine-growing region, you're in for a big surprise. A 32 km loop encompassing not just 80 restaurants, wineries and breweries, but over 50 fresh produce stalls and a growing range of fine art galleries, accommodation, wildlife attractions and some of the states most beautifully-preserved historical buildings. As the State's oldest producer, we are particularly proud of our wines, which range from verdelho - one of the valley's specialties - to full-bodied whites, reds and fine fortifieds. Ultimately, though, what makes the Swan Valley such a special place to explore is its people. Visit a cellar door and, chances are, you'll find the owners themselves, eager to share a yarn about the region's 170 years of viticulture and make your visit as pleasurable as possible.
