Established in 1841 by Thomas Jecks, the Hotel has been extensively renovated by the current management and offers accommodation of quality rooms.

The Rose & Crown offers 28, 3 1/2 star rooms each with an ensuite. All rooms have television, refrigerator, tean and coffee making facilities and air conditioning.

Conveniently located within easy reach of the airport, it is also located on the doorstep to the Swan Valley and its vast selection of wineries, breweries, restaurants and cafes.

Our restaurant is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All guests receive a complimentary cooked breakfast in the morning.

Our 1841 casual elegant Georgian restaurant provides the best quality modern Australian comfort food from our award-winning chef, or dine in the best beer garden in Perth.

Located within the Hotel, 1841 Bar & Kitchen has richly decorated traditional style furnishings and offers a fine selection of international and Australian cuisine. The Jecks room is also available for special functions, morning teas, lunches or private dinners.

Located in the Hotel's cellar, the Cellar Bar offers a unique atmosphere. The original convict-built well was used by the Hotel to draw water and brew its own fine ales. We now brew a large range counter snacks accompanied by the finest ales and a fascinating historical atmosphere.

One of the attractions of the Rose & Crown Hotel is the lovely garden. Established when the hotel was built, the garden offers a pleasant venue for a relaxing coffee or cool drink. The garden is also available for social, staff and business functions.

Things To Do If it's been a while since you've ventured into Western Australia's oldest wine-growing region, you're in for a big surprise. A 32 km loop encompassing not just 80 restaurants, wineries and breweries, but over 50 fresh produce stalls and a growing range of fine art galleries, accommodation, wildlife attractions and some of the states most beautifully-preserved historical buildings.

As the State's oldest producer, we are particularly proud of our wines, which range from verdelho - one of the valley's specialties - to full-bodied whites, reds and fine fortifieds.

Ultimately, though, what makes the Swan Valley such a special place to explore is its people. Visit a cellar door and, chances are, you'll find the owners themselves, eager to share a yarn about the region's 170 years of viticulture and make your visit as pleasurable as possible.
