John and Christine welcome you to Colonial On Tay, 335 Tay Street, Invercargill. We have 8 One Bedroom Units, 2 Two Bedroom units all with underfloor heating. Electric Heaters in rooms also. We pride ourselves on a cosy atmosphere with a feeling of home away from home. Continental/Cooked breakfasts available delivered to you in your room. LCD TV/Sky is in all rooms and DVD players are available on request, with a small DVD Library available at office. Wireless Internet is available through Zenbu.First 50mb FREE If you are flying into Invercargill we can arrange to meet you at the airport. Charge back facilities are available through a selection of the restaurants listed in the compendum in your room. Come stay with us and enjoy the friendly southern hospitality and all the attractions Southland has to offer. |

Situated on Tay Street. Second Motel through first set of Traffic Lights on the main highway from Dunedin. Coming from Queenstown/Te Anau - Continue along North Road which runs into Dee Street to the Monument at Tay Street intersection. Turn left into Tay Street through town, past Burger King and we are approximately 1km from there. |

| Things To Do |
Visit our beautiful gardens. Henry the Tuatara at the museum. 30 minute drive down to the end of the road - Bluff There are lots of things to see and do while you stay with us in Invercargill. Take a trip down to Bluff to Stirling Point- End of State Highway One. View Stewart Island from the Bluff Hill Lookout, or catch the Ferry over and spend a day exploring. Bill Richardson's Truck Museum is worth a visit but needs to be booked. Also the Worlds Fastest Indian display at E Hayes & Son's and at the Information Centre. Main Retail area, Splash Palace, Cycle Velodrome and Stadium Southland are all within walking distance from our Motel. |
