The lure of fresh air in a beautiful hillside setting makes the luxurious Imperial Phukaew Hill Resort an ideal place to get away from it all. Located in the beautiful but not so well-travelled province of Petchaboon, the Swiss-style retreat is accessible to a number of interesting sights. The unique resort is only 416 kilometers from Bangkok, 100 kilometers from Pitsanuloke Airport and 70 kilometers from Petchaboon town. Among the interesting places nearby are the Khao Kho National Park, the breathtaking Kaeng Sopa and Sri-dit Waterfalls and the Tung Salaeng Luang National Park, which offers a variety activities related to eco-tourism. Set on a multi-layered landscape, the resort complex is designed to blend in with its natural surroundings. The accommodations include individual chalets and guest rooms in low-rise buildings. Each room has balcony where guests can sit outside and enjoy the panoramic view of the highlands while soaking in the fresh air. Guests can partake in a variety of recreational activities suited to the resort’s pristine setting. Mountain bikes are available, jogging trails are mapped out and on the premises are a tennis court, picnic areas, a barbecue terrace and a swimming pool complete with a Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. The resort’s accommodations are made up of 140 units including four types of chalets with one to five bedrooms and 80 rooms in five guestroom buildings. Each unit comes with air-conditioning, a colour TV. , an IDD telephone, an in-room safe and a private bathroom. The deluxe accommodations also have a fireplace and a spacious oval-shaped bathtub. Delicious Thai cuisine as well as an array of popular international dishes is available at the Phukaew Terrace restaurant, where guests can dine while looking at the mist and clouds floating over the lush green hills. The Imperial Phukaew Hill Resort is also a great place for meetings or private parties such as weddings. It has a ballroom that can accommodate a maximum 230 guests and a function room with the capacity to hold up to 250 people. |
