Opened in November 2004, Layana Resort & Spa is the latest Deluxe 5 star resort on Koh Lanta. Carefully designed to blend harmoniously with the picturesque backdrop of green hills, and showcased against a spectacular 3 kilometers white-sand beach, the resort features 50 elegant rooms and suites. The atmosphere is simple and elegantly Thai, with alfresco architecture combining with contemporary design to provide an open, cool and natural feel. The luxurious guestrooms are spread out within eleven separate low-rise buildings nestled in lush gardens, while the six suites overlook the beach and timeless beauty of the warm and welcoming sea. The decor and furnishings are natural and luxurious combined with modern amenities to make for a comfortable and relaxing stay. All rooms are spacious, air conditioned and with ceiling fan , en suite bathroom , satellite TV complete with DVD and a wireless broadband internet link. Gourmet travelers will enjoy our main restaurant situated right along side the beach serving a mouth-watering selection of international dishes and Thai cuisine. The resort facilities include Sundowners bar, the beach-side bar, evening lounge, library, an infinity edge salt water pool and large jacuzzi. Linger Longer spa with its garden location, 5 indoor air-conditioned treatment rooms, four private outdoor salas and jacuzzi provide a complete range of high-quality spa treatments. Layana Resort & Spa is nestled on the west coast of Lanta Yai Island, in Mu Koh Lanta National Park (Krabi Province). The park is home to stunning vistas of exotic landscapes, tropical wildlife in a lush, natural environment and abundant marine life. The property is situated on the beautiful Phrae-Beach, a 3 kilometre-long white-sand beach and is 1 hour and 20 minutes (by boat and minivan) or 2 1/2 hours (by road) away from Krabi International Airport. Transfer by the hotel is strongly recommended. Please note that the transfer cost is not included in the rates displayed. Transfer cost is payable direct to hotel. Transfer has to be arranged in-advance, please indicate if transfer is required in the booking comments and flight arrival details. |
