Guests can choose between The Grand Suites - Colonial Australian, Victorian or Tuscan and the Luxury Spa Rooms - French Provincial, Italian and Paddlesteamer or perhaps the Luxury Ensuite Rooms - The French and Bordello. Your accommodation includes a full breakfast menu. Situated in the historic Port Precinct of Echuca the River Gallery Inn offers the unique experience of a bygone age combined with modern luxury facilities. These facilities include private ensuites, reverse cycle air-conditioning, bar fridges, hair dryers, televisions with DVD players and coffee or tea making facilities. All rooms except the Tuscan have open fireplaces (available May - September) to create a special romantic ambience. From Northern Highway (Melbourne), turn right into Ogilvie Ave and turn left at High Street set of lights. Go past McDonalds on the left, go through roundabout and go past Nirebo Motel on the right. River Gallery Inn is in the next block of shops on the right hand side of road. It is opposite Antonios Italian Restaurant and you should see our balcony overlooking High Street. You have gone too far if you reach the next roundabout with a park on the right. From Murray Valley Highway (Shepparton), turn right at High Street set of lights. Go past McDonalds on the left, go through roundabout and go past Nirebo Motel on the right. River Gallery Inn is in the next block of shops on the right hand side of road. It is opposite Antonios Italian Restaurant and you should see our balcony overlooking High Street. You have gone too far if you get to the next roundabout with a park on the right. From Murray Valley Highway (Swan Hill), turn left off the Murray Valley Highway into Warren Street and turn right at roundabout into High Street. River Gallery Inn is located in the second block of shops on the left. Just look for our balcony which overlooks High Street. You have gone too far if you get to a roundabout and McDonalds. From Cobb Highway (Deniliquin), follow road through Moama and go over the bridge into Victoria. Once over the bridge turn right at the roundabout into Heygarth Street. Turn right at the next roundabout into High Street. River Gallery Inn is located on the right hand side in the first block of shops. We are opposite Antonios Italian Restaurant. Just look for our balcony overlooking High Street. |

Dominated by one of the world’s great rivers, The Murray, is a region of vineyards, fertile pastures and historic villages situated on the southern border of New South Wales. The river’s eco-system is still home to unique and ancient forests of river red gums, extensive wetlands and untouched semi-arid areas that can be accessed by wetland tours. Explore the Murray from the paddle steamer capital of Australia, Echuca-Moama is redolent of romance and history. This was once the largest inland port in the Southern Hemisphere. From here you can take a cruise or hire a houseboat. Paddle steamers and riverboats still pull into the historic Red Gum Wharf, which has been fully restored. The Echuca - Moama District now boasts five wineries and cellar doors. Arriving at a Winery for lunch and wine - tasting aboard an historic Paddlesteamer is a very unique experience. One of the unique qualities that Echuca has to offer is the faithful restoration of the town buildings and public areas. From the historic port area, to the streetscapes with large verandahs, wide streets and smiling townspeople. Echuca is set to charm even the most seasoned of travellers. It's the perfect place for a carefree holiday with plenty to see and do and it's just over 2 hours drive from Melbourne. |
