Spacious self-contained motel accommodation in Riccarton. King studios, king suites and family suites. Short walk through the Botanic Gardens and Hagley Park to Cathedral Square and Christchurch central city. Visit the Museum, Arts Centre,Art Gallery and ride the Tram on the way. All of our rooms are non smoking. Our rooms have full kitchen facilities with microwaves; most rooms have a full stove, with hotplates in others. All of our rooms have a large screen television and dvd/cd player. Our larger rooms also have a second television in the bedroom. Babies cots/cribs and high chairs and rollaway beds are available. We have a guest laundry and complimentary guest spa. We also have a safe deposit box for storage of your valuables. A 24 hour Convenience Store is located close by and is open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. It sells a wide range of items from fresh baked bread, canned and fresh food items, milk, chocolate and alcohol. We also have several restaurants and a large shopping mall and movie theatre complex within walking distance. Public transport is 200 metres away. The Christchurch Public Hospital is just down the street and it is only 2 kilometres to the train station, for that magic Trans Alpine Train experience, and 15 minutes drive from the airport. Westpac Trust Centre is just 2km from us. Our guests frequently comment on our friendly service, clean and comfortable accommodation and wonderful location. There are so many wonderful things to do in our city/region and the following is just a few. Come visit us and we will show you a lot more. *500 metres from Hagley Park golf course *600 Metres from the Botanical Gardens which takes up 30 hectares of the Park and are world-renown for their horticultural diversity. Their formal rose garden, water and rock gardens, towering trees and extensive collection of New Zealand native treees and plants are a joy to look around. * 1 kilometre from Canterbury Museum * 1 Kilometre from the Arts Centre which has wonderful art/craft shopping and a market on the weekend. Also has wonderful cafes and restaurants. * 1 Kilometre from the new Christchurch Art Gallery * 2 Kilometres from the Christchurch Casino - complimentary transport can be arranged. * 8 Kilometres from the International Antarctic Centre; This is the USA's and several overseas contries "take off" to the Antarctic. The Antarctic Centre has a lot of interesting history and exhibits. * 10 Kilometres from Horse back riding * 10 Kilometres from Willowbank Wildlife Reserve which is open during the day and night. You get to enjoy the nocturnal inhabitants just as nature intended - nothing behind glass and you get the real experience even hearing our native Kiwi birds snuffling and digging down for their food. We have visited this Park on several occaisions and it is wonderful. |
