The Crowne Plaza Stabiae Sorrento Coast is a modern and elegant four star superior hotel, located in a unique and charming position, at sea level on the coast that leads into the heart of the Sorrento Peninsula. A structure of great architectural value, derived from the conversion of an disused cement factory. The hotel was built along a walk of over 300 meters, at the sea level, and is divided into two main buildings, the west wing and the east wing. The Crowne Plaza Stabiae, at the entrance, has a minimalist style, characterized by a modern design. The blue and white shades of the floor and of the comfortable sofas and armchairs in the bar Acquerello, join harmoniously with the wood parquet of the reception and of the Lounge bar, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The 150 rooms arranged in two main buildings are spacious and bright, all furnished in modern style, offering a spectacular view over the Gulf of Naples and Vesuvius Volcano. The Crowne Plaza Stabiae, a true resort in the heart of the Sorrento Peninsula, offers a range of first quality services. A private swimming pool, located in the west wing, with fresh water, and a beautiful terrace at the sea level, has sun beds, umbrellas and beach towels. In the cold months, then a cover feature allows to close a part, making it a real indoor pool. At the end of the Hotel there is the private beach, with a fine white sand. A quiet haven to relax in the sun and bathe in our crystalline sea. Along the beach, there is a private pier, from which boat trips take off for the islands in the Gulf of Naples (Capri, Ischia, Procida) and for the Amalfi Coast. Situated at the sea level, the elegant Gouache restaurant, with its spectacular view and the bright outdoor patio, delights the senses of our guests with the flavours of the Mediterranean tradition. Our chefs offer the best of traditional and international cuisine, combined with a careful selection of regional and foreign wines. The Spamarine is a temple of well-being. Considered one of the largest beauty farm existing in Campania, with an extension of more than 800 square meters. It has 13 aesthetic rooms, 3 balneo reatment pools and an hydro-jet pool with relax area and herbal tea corner, sauna, turkish bath, solarium, and a modern gym, with cardio-fitness trail (Technogym ®). **UPDATE: From 1st November to 4th December 2009, our outdoor swimming pool will be closed. Coming from North: Motorway A3 Naples-Pompei-Salerno, exit Castellammare di Stabia. Follow the signs to Sorrento peninsula. After passing two tunnels, the hotel will be visible on the right side of the road (on the sea), while the entry is on the left side. The International Airport of Naples (Capodichino) is one of the closest to the Sorrento Peninsula. At the airport, the Curreri bus travel, makes the race from/to Napoli Airpost - Sorrento. This bus stops at the Crowne Plaza Stabiae Sorrento Coast. Coming from the South: Motorway A3 Salerno - Reggio Calabria towards Salerno, exit Castellammare di Stabia. Follow the signs to Sorrento peninsula. After passing two tunnels, the hotel will be visible on the right side of the road (on the sea), while the entry is on the left side. Motorway A17 Napoli - Bari, exit Avellino Est, then motorway Avellino-Salerno to Salerno, then A3 Salerno - Reggio Calabria towards Salerno, exit Castellammare di Stabia. Follow the signs to Sorrento peninsula. After passing two tunnels, the hotel will be visible on the right side of the road (on the sea), while the entry is on the left side. By train:Sorrento Peninsula is connected to the city of Naples (Piazza Garibaldi station - Napoli Centrale) through the railway Circumvesuviana. The line is Naples - Sorrento. The nearest railway stations are: Castellammare di Stabia (3 km) - Vico Equense (3 km) from where you can reach the Crowne Plaza Stabiae Sorrento Coast by taxi or by the free shuttle service (check timetable in “Activities and Leisure” page).
