The Grand Hotel del Gianicolo is a new 4 star Hotel located in a historic XVIII Century villa on the wonderful Gianicolo hill (considered the main stronghold of the heroic Roman republic defence against the French troops ) just above the historic centre of Rome: Trastevere . Its prominent location and quietness of the place offers a pleasant and relaxing stay for all its guests. Our 48 rooms are elegantly furnished and equipped with every modern comfort Garage, mini bar, private safes, air-conditioning, tv sat , direct line, internet wireless, bathroom either with shower box or hydro-massage bath Jacuzzi and hairdryer. In addition, every morning at the Hotel we serve an abundant buffet either inside or in the garden so the guests can enjoy the crisp morning air. Every detail - our luxuriant gardens, the swimming pool, and the interiors-have been designed to offer the best in terms of hospitality and comfort. Our first aim is to satisfy our guests with an old fashioned service. |

By Car: From the G.R.A. (a motorway that surrounds Rome) take exit N.1 (Aurelio) and on entering the city before the first traffic light turn right and take Via Aurelia Antica drive the all way through - By Plane: From Fiumicino airport : Take the train to Trastevere Station and Bus 871 to via G.Carini By Train From Termini Station bus 75 to Via G.Carini - Via G.Carini is the street at the back of the Hotel (just walk around the building to get to the main entrance). |
