Sailing, windsurfing, kayaking and canoeing are all available in the picturesque town of Killaloe, right on the shores of Lough Derg. A wide range of equipment is available for hire from the custom built Water Sports Centre.

Cycling
Lough Derg Cycleway - Lough Derg, which covers 32,000 acres, is one of the largest and most beautiful lakes in Ireland. Low hills and mountains with a shoreline of marvellous inlets and bays surrounding it offer a wealth of routes to choose from along quiet country roads with a relatively flat terrain. With its breathtaking scenery, the area has been referred to as 'a cyclist's paradise'.
