From the motorway A11 (from Florence or from Pisa), take the exit LUCCA EST The hotel can be seen from the exit. Follow the road, take the first on the right (Via Fornacette), drive until the end and turn right to Viale San Concordio and right to Viale Europa. The hotel is only 30 minutes away from Pisa airport and 50 minutes from Florence which can be reached by train or by bus. The centre is only 5 minutes driving from the hotel and about 15 minutes walking. |

Lucca old town is one of the most interesting in the Italian panorama. The visitor, coming through the majestic city walls that surround the city, can enter in an atmosphere full of history, where past and present live together in perfect harmony. This same balance can be found in the combination of the precious marble with the stone bricks of the old buildings and gardens. Lucca is one of the few cities where the old walls are kept intact. Its historical center is really well conserved and includes medieval churches of remarkable architecture, towers and renaissance buildings. Like other cities in Tuscany, Lucca is full of work of art, like a museum at the open air, built and enriched during the centuries, where the newest constructions well blend in with the oldest ones. |
