Opened in July 1972, last renovated in 2009, the Golden Tulip Hotel Olymp is one of the most attractive country side hotels located at the "pulse of Munich" between the international airport Code "MUC" and the city center. The Golden Tulip Hotel Olymp is a Superior first class property with 96 light-filled mediterranean rooms furnished with old woods like pine, walnut or cherrywood. Combined with fine fabrics, carvings and paintings, the Hotel Olymp is completely different from every known "international" hotel ambiance. Guests may use sauna, steam bath, solarium free of charge. Highway A 9 from Berlin: Take Exit No. 69 “Eching” and turn left at the first traffic lights and turn right at the second traffic lights and then you will see the hotel on the left hand and side. Highway A 92 from Deggendorf: Drive to the Highway Intersection “München-Ost”. Then go in direction “München”, Highway A 9. Take the next Exit No. 69 “Eching” and turn left at the traffic lights. The next traffic lights turn right and you will see the hotel on the left hand side. Highway A 94/B 12 from Passau: Drive to the Highway Intersection “München-Ost”. Then you take the Highway A 99, direction “Nürnberg”. There you keep going and you will be at your point of destination in a few minutes time. You take Exit No. 69 “Eching” and turn left at the first traffic lights and right at the second traffic lights and then you will see the hotel on the left hand side. Highway A 8 from Salzburg: Drive over the bypass, Highway A 99 in direction of “Nürnberg”. Then keep going on Highway A 9 towards “Nürnberg” and you will be at the hotel in a few minutes time. Take Exit No. 69 “Eching”. Turn left at the first traffic lights and right at the second traffic lights and you will see the hotel. Highway A 95 from Garmisch: Drive in direction of “Nürnberg” on the beltway. In Schwabing you take Highway A 9 in direction of “Nürnberg. Once you are on Highway A 9 you will be at your point of destination in a few minutes. Take Exit No. 69 “Eching”. Turn left at the first traffic lights and right at the second and you will be there. Highway A 96 from Lindau: Drive in direction of “Nürnberg” on the beltway. In Schwabing you have to take the Highway A 9. You will be at your point of destination in a few minutes time. Take Exit No. 69 “Eching”, turn left at the first traffic lights and right at the second and you will be in front of the hotel. Highway A 8 from Stuttgart:. In western Munich you have to go direction “Nürnberg/Deggendorf” and follow the airport sign. You are using the A 99 and further the A 92. At the Interstate Cross “Autobahnkreuz Neufahrn” go direction Munich and take the next exit No. 69 “Eching-Neufahrn”. At the first traffic lights turn left. | Things To Do |
The hotel is ideally situated for both the business and the leisure travellers. The Deutsche Museum, the Flugwerft, the castles Nymphenburg with porcelain manufacturer or Oberschleissheim are only a catjump away. For shopping, Maximilian or Leopoldstrasse has a wide variety of well-known chain stores as well as numerous antique shops are only a 30 minute public transportation ride (S-Bahn) away. In the evenings, you could attend a concert at the Gasteig Hall or if you would prefer to go to the theatre the hotel is in a good starting point for every taste. Nightlife can be found in Schwabing, which is 20 minutes away. |
