Right at the doorsteps of the hotel the green lung of Berlin starts, the Tiergarten, one of the largest city parks of the world. Ideal for jogging, cycling on our hotel bikes or just rest for a picnic. Once entered the Tiergarten your view will be directed to the Siegessäule (Victory Column), onwards to the Brandenburg Gate, on the left hand side of course the Reichstag and then the new government district. The hotel is situated right in the middle of both city centres west and east, and just in walking distance to the Potsdamer Platz. Here in an area once occupied by the Wall, you find one of newest Berlin´s top tourist attractions. Marvel at some masterpieces of modern architecture like the Sony Center by Helmut Jahn, the DaimlerCity and for entertainment the Stella Musical Theatre, a Casino, several multiplex cinemas, a white range of restaurants and bars and of course a big shopping mall. |
