| Getting There |
Arriving by Car: We're on the left hand side on the main route(6) entering Wanaka township. We have a large garden frontage with playground in view, plus huge signage on our roof displaying the Alpine Motel 'logo' ... alternatively, if you are travelling over the Crown Range from the Queenstown area, please travel right down thru' the township, down to the Lake, turn right -follow along the main road up the hill leaving Wanaka, we are on the right hand side (opposite corner to the Caltex garage). Flights: direct from Christchurch to Wanaka arrive 11.45am. Shuttles available to bring you to our property. Driving from West Coast: coming to the junction of Route 6 - turn right to Wanaka, we are 3 kilometers from the turnoff. Driving from Christchurch: we are approx 5 hours driving time coming thru' the Lindis Pass - turn right just after Tarras, follow to the Clutha River turning right just after the bridge crossing. Continue on this road until you join with route 6 continuing along until you reach the Wanaka township and follow instructions on top of this page. |
