Mercure Wellington is located on the Terrace with beautiful panoramic views over the city and harbour. We are just a short taxi ride or a nice stroll through the city to Cuba Street with its funky boutiques, cafes, restaurants, shops and Wellington’s iconic attractions such as Te Papa Museum, Parliament, Cable Car and Westpac Stadium. The hotel has 111 well appointed guest rooms and 7 conference rooms that stream with natural light. Mercure Wellington’s facilities include Brasserie 345, Lobby Bar, Business Centre, Car Parking (charges apply) and complimentary access to our Indoor Heated Pool, Gymnasium and Sauna. Brasserie 345 boasts a diverse menu of modern New Zealand cuisine which is available from 6pm to 10pm daily. We also offer a delicious Full Buffet Breakfast which is available from 6.30am to 10am weekdays and 6.30am to 11am weekends. If you feel like breakfast in bed, a quiet night in or midnight feast, then we also have 24 hour room service to cater to your needs. Mercure Wellington also features pedestrian access to Watson Street which means you don’t have to walk the steep hill and can take the nice little short cut on your adventures into Wellington city. | Getting There |
From the airport, follow the signs into the city and when you get to the Basin Reserve (sporting ground), turn left down the city bypass road. When you get to Willis St, turn left into Abel Smith St and follow it up to the Terrace. At the Terrace, turn right and the hotel is located 100 metres up on your right hand side. Pedestrian: from the city, walk south down Willis Street until you get to Vivian Street. Turn right onto Vivian St and follow that until you come to Watson Street. Turn left into Watson St and follow that until you get to the back entrance of the Hotel. From here, take the lift to Reception on Level Five. |
