Our accommodation is designed around and amongst majestic red gums whose range of colours has been skillfully incorporated into the building and furnishings. Built within easy distance of Penola’s renowned cafes, restaurants and hotels we offer the choice of the district to tantalise the most discerning palate. Penola boasts many attractions, set amidst the great vineyards of Coonawarra the area is a mecca for lovers of wine, students of history and scholars of culture and religion. Our 18 suites are designed to provide the best of 4 star quality accommodation. Some suites have interconnecting doors for family or friend convenience. We have two bedroom suites available for family or luxury living, these can include spa and private, sheltered patio areas with great views of majestic redgums. Most of our suites have queen size beds and couches, some have queen size and a single bed and we can offer three suites with king size beds and couches. Each air-conditioned suite has its own kitchenette with microwave and full ensuite facilities. There are local operators who can help with wine tasting tours, mini bus tours of district or to neighbouring attractions eg Naracoorte Caves, Blue Lake, Robe beach. Penola offers great shopping, art galleries, restaurants, history, religion, culture, architecture and of course the great wines of the world famous Coonawarra area. Sorry no pets. |
