We are conveniently located at 91-95 MacIntosh St, approximately 5 minutes drive from the Forster CBD, Stocklands Shopping Village and beaches. The landscaped grounds include a sparkling in-ground pool, and a cabana with BBQ area. All one-bedroom apartments are very spacious and have comfortable queen-size beds. The two-bedroom apartments have a queen size bed in the main bedroom and either two additional single beds or bunks in the second bedroom. All units are air conditioning and come fully furnished with kitchen utensils. Towels and linen are supplied, and units are serviced daily. Both the Forster Bowling Club and Forster/Tuncurry Memorial Services Club are only a minutes away. Wireless internet connectivity. Wheelchair accessible units subject to availability. Austar is available, but not in the two bedroom two storey apartments. |

| Getting There |
Travelling to Forster from the North: Turn left off the Pacific Highway at Rainbow Flat onto The Lakesway (Look for signs to Forster/Tuncurry). Drive approximately 15 minutes to Tuncurry, then over the Bridge into Forster. Proceed along Head St, and turn right into MacIntosh Street. Continue along MacIntosh Street. You will see Kelanbri on your right. U-turn at "McDonalds" round-a-bout at Mark Street and come back on the correct side of MacIntosh Street. We are opposite the United Service Station. Travelling to Forster from the South (Via Pacific Highway and Nabiac) Turn right off the Pacific Highway just north of Nabiac at Failford Rd (Look for signs to Forster/Tuncurry). Drive approximately 12 minutes to the junction with The Lakesway, and turn right. Drive a further 10 minutes to Tuncurry, then over the Bridge into Forster. Proceed along Head St, and turn right into MacIntosh Street. Continue along MacIntosh Street. You will see Kelanbri on your right. U-turn at "McDonalds" round-a-bout at Mark Street and come back on the correct side of MacIntosh Street. We are opposite the United Service Station. Travelling to Forster from the South (Via Scenic Route # 6 and the Pacific Palms area: Turn right off the Pacific Highway, just north of Bulahdelah, onto The Lakesway (Look for signs to Pacific Palms or Forster/Tuncurry). Follow the scenic route through the Pacific Palms area, and then continue on the Lakesway all the way to Forster. The Lakesway becomes MacIntosh Street at the Mark Street intersection. Continue along MacIntosh Street until you get to number 91 - 95. You've arrived. |

| Things To Do |
Swim with Dolphins -- Forster is one of the few places in Australia where you can actually get in the water and swim with dolphins in their own habitat. Contact Dive Forster for bookings and info. Beaches and Lakes: Forster/Tuncurry has 5 local beaches, and there are also several beaches within a half hour drive south in the scenic Pacific Palms area. The sister towns of Forster and Tuncurry are located at the mouth of Wallis Lake, which is part of a network of linked waterways comprising the Myall, Smiths & Wallis Lakes. Between them the three lakes cover an area 4.5 times the size of Sydney Harbour. Lake Cruises: There are two vessels offering regular tourist cruises of the Wallis Lake. Both the "Free Spirit" and "Amaroo 2000" depart from jetties close to the Forster CBD. Bookings are advised during school holidays. On both cruises dolphins are often sighted. Fishing, Diving & Snorkelling: Surrounded by lake and ocean Forster/Tuncurry offers a multitude of water activities. 4WD Beach Access: Great Lakes Council offers visitors permits to drive on designated beaches. Contact the Council office for details. Sporting & Recreation Facilities: The area has a wide assortment of sporting and recreation clubs. Amongst the many facilities in the area are clubs catering for lawn bowls, golf, tennis, surfing, swimming, squash, bridge and general fitness. Restaurants and Dining: The area has an excellent selection of restaurants and cafes including Chinese, Thai, Seafood, Mexican, Italian, French, and modern Australian. Many of the local restaurants and cafes have alfresco dining during the warmer months. "Hog's Breath", "Subway", & "McDonalds" restaurants are also located in Forster. For the Kids: There are two fun parks located just north of Forster/Tuncurry. - "BIG BUZZ" & "TON-O-FUN" Both are open weekends and all school holidays, and they have plenty to keep the youngsters busy, including giant waterslides, Go-carts, mini-golf. Both have picnic & BBQ areas. |
