A popular place to stay for over 80 yrs and famous for its Murder Mystery weekends. Tree Tops Gueshouse is a fully renovated Edwardian guesthouse with 8 standard ensuite rooms, 3 twin ensuite room and 4 luxury spa suites(rated 4 stars) and 4 family units (rated 31/2 stars). There is a Billard room and comfortable sitting rooms with log fires. Full country breakfasts with pikelets, eggs Benedict, fresh fruits, home made yoghurt, cereals, home made compot and preserves are included in our tariff. Should you be interested in joining us for dinner, our restaurant is open most nights. We serve hors d'oeuvres with sherry in the sitting room half an hour before dinner. Dinner is a fixed three course gourmet menu that varies daily and is followed by freshly ground coffee, chocolates and port. The tariff is $45.00 per person (pre-booking is essential with a minimum 24 hour notice). We offer In house massages, have an Extensive old English cottage garden for you to wonder through, and are close to all Southern Highland attractions. Torchlight walks to Glow Worm Glen which is around the corner is a must. |

From Sydney; Follow the M5 and take the exit at MacDonalds marked 'Bundanoon /Exeter' At Exeter turn right (signposted) to Bundanoon. Keep the railway on your right and Tree Tops Guesthouse is on your left as you enter town. Nearest corner Rosenthal Ave. From Canberra: Take the turn marked 'Tallong/Bundanoon' just after the Marulan truck stop. This country road will take you through several small villages. Once in Bundanoon go through the shops, keeping the rail on your left. Tree Tops Guesthouse is on your right about 1 km from the shops. This turn off is not well marked, so if you miss it continue on to the MacDonalds 'Bundanoon/Exeter' exit and follow signs to Bundanoon. At Exeter turn right (signposted) to Bundanoon. Keep the railway on your right and Tree Tops Guesthouse is on your left as you enter town. Nearest corner Rosenthal Ave. |

Bundanoon is situated on the entrance to Morton National park and is close to all the attractions of the Southern Highlands. some of the attraction in Bundanoon include; 1. Glow Worm Glen – A sandstone grotto in Morton National Park. Tiny larvae of the fungus gnat emit a blue luminescence after dark and making a fairyland of tiny lights in the niches of rock overhang. About a 30 minute walk return trip. Bring a torch. 2. Brigadoon Festival : Bundanoon becomes Brigadoon for the famous annual festival with massed pipe bands , highland games for all to participate in and lots of Scottish stalls. Always in April. 3. Bundanoon markets. Country markets are held on the first Sunday of each month in the center of the town . 4. Murder Mystery evenings: Super Sleuth runs professional murder mystery evenings where guests are allocated parts and join in the fun, run with professional actors 5. Valley Violets A unique display of African Violets. Wide range of varieties and colours for sale together with pots, potting mix and nutrient. 6. Bike Hire at the Ye Olde Bicycle Shoppe – For over 80 years visitors have hired a bike here and explored the maze of tracks in the nearby National Park 7. Wine tasting: The first Saturday in Feb each year talk to the wine makers and taste wine from over 14 wineries. Jazz band , BBQ bring the family and have a great day 8. Southlands: In the nearby village of Sutton Forest an operating dairy selling direct to the public real unhomogonised milk and dairy products made on the farm See the milking session at 4pm. |
