Couran Point Island Beach Resort is located on South Stradbroke Island Conservation Park.32 hotel style rooms set amongst majestic Livistonia palms and paperbark Melaleucas on a tranquil 27 hectare estate.

South Stradbroke Island Conservation Park has plenty of wildlife including the ‘Agile Wallaby’ (In abundance within the resort grounds) and the native ‘Golden Swamp Wallaby’ as well as ‘Giant Goannas’ and a wide array of native seabirds.
The resort has a large, poolside, licensed restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner offering fresh local cuisine.
Guests can enjoy a game of tennis, beach volleyball, a bushwalk, canoeing, fantastic fishing on the broad water or ocean beach or just relax by one of the largest lagoon pools in Queensland.

Bring your own pool/beach towels and prepare yourself for a relaxing stay at our island paradise.

For the slightly more energetic guest, take a short walk to the unspoiled, patrolled surf beach on the eastern side of the island and experience the way surfing on the Gold Coast used to be……...uncrowded.

Access to the resort is via our MV "Big Cat" ferry which departs daily from Berth D17, Marina Mirage, 74 Sea World Drive, Main Beach at 10.00am. Guests are welcome to bring their own boats. A mooring fee will apply.

Getting There	There is only ONE ferry departure per day. MV Bigcat departs from Berth D17, Marina Mirage, Seaworld Drive, Main Beach at 10:00am daily. Check in to the office between 9:15am and 9:30am. Dependant on tides - the cruise takes approximately 1 hour. MV Bigcat departs the island to return only once daily at 2:45pm, returning back to Marina Mirage by 4:00pm.
Parking	Free undercover car parking is available at Marina Mirage. Couran Point Island Beach Resort does not accept any responsibility for damage/theft incurred while using this carpark.
Things To Do	Huge lagoon swimming pool with waterslide, heated spa, tennis, basketball, cricket, beach shuttle bus to surf beach, canoes, games room, fishing, bocce, putt-putt, bush walking and water-sport activities, eg. jetskiing that can be booked on the island.
