The Hotel EMONA AQUAEDUCTUS is located in a Liberty villa Facing Nero’s Aqueduct (50-100 A.D.), right in the heart of the historical city of Rome, the Coliseum is only 15 minutes walking distance and the subway will take you all around Rome from the nearby "Manzoni" station. The new proprietor has devoted a lot of care and attention to restore the interiors,antiques, decorations and all details to give the rooms, the hall, the garden and the terrace overlooking the Nero's aqueduct, a lovely and inviting ambience for those who are looking for small and charming ... special hotels. It is the ideal home away from home, whether you are in Rome for pleasure or for business. Each of our Superior rooms are unique, furnished with antiques, safes, and Internet connection to high speed ASDL line, some have Jacuzzi hydromassage bathtubs or showers - on request. All our rooms are very pleasantly furnished and equipped with every modern convenience, minibar, satellite TV, air conditioning,direct-dial telephone hair-dryer etc. On request are available “non smoking rooms”, “disabled rooms”, “Business Class rooms” with pc jack for Internet high speed ADSL connection and “communicating rooms” specially suited to host parents and children together safely. By plane Rome's Fiumicino Airport is about 40 km away and Rome's Ciampino Airport is about 20 km away. From Fiumicino, you can take the train (Leonardo Express) that goes to the Termini station. From Ciampino, you can take a shuttle bus (Terravision) to Termini station. By train: The hotel is 10 minutes from Termini station. In front of the station, take the 105 bus or 14 or 5 tram and get off at Piazza di Porta Maggiore. The Hotel Emona Aquaeductus is 150 meters from the stop. By subway The closes subway (Metropolitana) station is "Manzoni" on the A line. By car Take the Grande Raccordo Anulare (beltway) that can be reached from all the tollways and take exit 14 Tangenziale Est - Roma Centro. Continue on Tangenziale Est towards Porta Maggiore - San Giovanni and follow the signs for Porta Maggiore. The Hotel Emona Aquaeductus is located 150 meters from the piazza, at number 23 Via Statilia. |
