Golden Sands Beach Front Resort is located at Yorkeys Knob, on absolute beachfront, only 15 min from Cairns CBD, Reef Fleet Terminal and Cairns International Airport. Laze around the lagoon style pool, swim the coral sea, enjoy a game of tennis or just stroll along the long stretch of sandy beach. Dine in style under the palms at our on-site licensed a-la-carte restaurant, with the Coral Sea only metres away. Onsite resident managers are available to assist you with all your tour requirements, all tour operators will pick up and drop you off at your doorstep. At Yorkeys Knob there is an International Marina and boat club, Half Moon Bay 18 hole Golf course,a small shopping centre with takeaway food, supermarket, restaurant, hairdressers,so there is no need to go any further. Yorkeys Knob Beach is great to swim, soak up the sun, take a long walk, fish or just simply relax. Rental cars can be booked at reception for those wishing to explore all the natural wonders that are within easy drive of Yorkeys Knob.A regular bus service to Cairns is also available. Yorkeys Knob is central to all major attractions like the Great Barrier Reef, Skyrail, Port Douglas, Tablelands to name a few. |

From the airport head north on the Captain Cook Highway - you will come across 3 roundabouts - the third one is Yorkeys Knob Road. Follow this road until you come across a small shopping centre, once you have passed this shopping centre, turn right down Wattle Street. Follow this road until you come across Kempton Street, turn right and then it is 2nd left - Deauville Close. |
