On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, bar meals are available from 12 until 8pm. Bar Berlise is a popular venue for both residents and students in the lively area of Jesmond. The recently refurbished bar features the Happy Hour Machine and two state-of-the-art large plasma screens showing football & rugby games. It is also an ideal place for customers to relax and enjoy a snack from the imaginative menu. |

By Rail: 4 metro stops from Newcastle Central Station which has mainline Intercity links to King's Cross and Scotland. By Air: Located 5 miles from Newcastle Airport, the hotel can be reached either by taxi or by taking the underground Metro to West Jesmond. Directions: Starting from Newcastle Airport roundabout, after 178 yards take the 1st Exit off the roundabout and after 101 yards take the 2nd Exit off the roundabout into A696 direction NEWCASTLE, [A696] THE SOUTH, THE SOUTH via [A1].Continue straight into A696. After 1 miles take the 3rd Exit off the roundabout into A167 (Ponteland Road). Bear left into A167. Leave the A167 and join the A167 (M). Leave the A167 (M) and straight ahead into A1058. After 431 yards take the 1st Exit off the roundabout into B1600 (Osborne Road). Continue straight into Osborne Road for 1/4 mile until you see the Cairn Hotel on your left hand side, next to the Lloyds TSB bank. |
