Valhalla is an Australian family owned ski lodge that enjoys stunning views over Perisher Ski Resort. You can ski from the front door, snow conditions allowing. Valhalla is located in Perisher Valley only 400m from the ski lifts and 100m to the marked cross country tracks.

Book your holiday at Valhalla and you will enjoy relaxing in Valhalla’s spacious lounge room in front of the fire as you soak up the floor to ceiling panoramic views of the Perisher Ski Resort and Kosciusko National Park. It is the perfect place to unwind and swap snow stories after an adventurous day of snow action. After the 5pm Cheese Platter, you will feast on a delicious 3 course dinner at 7pm in the cosy alpine dining room overlooking Perisher’s Front Valley. A hearty cooked to order breakfast and self serve cereal bar with fresh fruit & juice is available from 8.00am.

You can kick back in Valhalla’s separate TV/DVD room with guest use DVD's, board games, Wii games and books.

Each of Valhalla’s 12 guestrooms have been newly updated in 2012 with new decor, curtains, bedding and linen. Each guestroom has an en suite with hairdryer & ipod dock clock. Bedding is either one king or two twin beds. All guestrooms are located on the upper level and enjoy native Kosciuszko National Park Bush Views. Maximum guest occupancy for the lodge is 26 guests.

Valhalla’s on-site management team are experienced, skilled and friendly. They are passionate about Valhalla Lodge and have been with Valhalla for the past 8 years. Each snow season they look forward to seeing guests return year after year. The vast majority of bookings are from return guests. Some have come to Valhalla Lodge as children and now return with their own friends and families. It is often remarked by guests that Valhalla is the best lodge on the mountain and once you’ve stayed at Valhalla, you will never stay anywhere else.

We had a fabulous stay at Valhalla and loved the warm, cosy environment and welcoming staff. The 5pm drinks/cheese platter was very enjoyable as it brought people together and made it easy to get to know other guests. It was great to be able to buy a drink at a reasonable price. (Not a common occurrence in the many ski resort lodges/hotels) Our only disappointment is that we're not there today with a 40cm dump overnight. Thank you to all the Valhalla staff for making our stay so enjoyable…. Graham

Fantastic accomodation, beautiful warm rooms, lovely to come home to cheese platter and very nice dinners and breakfasts each day. The staff were very helpful and even had our bags transfered down to the ski tube to save us time on our last day. Oversnow return vouchers each day were a lovely surprise too especially when you are too tired to walk:-). We will definately be back next year and will bring the kids too… Deena & Mark

So glad we decided to stay here ! The room was clean, warm and the bed very comfortable. Kai and the rest of the staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. Food was also very good and the familier atmosphere at meal times made the whole experience so enjoyable. Thanks so much for the week at Valhalla. It was superb. The food and service was fantastic. The lodge itself is just beautiful and my room was divine. Best holiday I've had in years. I haven't been skiing for 12 years and I have resolved to come back to Valhalla every year from now on. Just wonderful… Christine
