From Sydney, take the F3 Newcastle Freeway starting from Wahronga, turn left off the Freeway when you see signs for Cessnock.(Highway 82) Follow all signs to Cessnock, on arriving in the township of Cessnock you will arrive at a set of traffic lights - you will see the Royal Oak Hotel opposite. Turn right at these lights into Vincent Street. Drive to the end of Vincent Street and you will arrive at another set of traffic lights opposite Cessnock Hotel. Turn left at these lights onto Wollombi Road. Drive along Wollombi Road, driving through the roundabout, take the next Right into Mount View Road (opposite Sylvesters Bakery). Driving along Mount View Road, you will pass The Oaks Golf Course and Mount View High School. Drive through the next roundabout, following the road through a sweeping right hand bend, which turns into Oakey Creek Road. Travel through the next roundabout (at Kelman Estate). Take the 1st turn left (this is still Oakey Creek Road) and travel approx. 1km, passing the Golden Grape Estate on your right. The Sebel Kirkton Park is just past the Golden Grape Estate on your right. Have a safe journey. Just under 2 hours drive from Sydney.
