| Getting There |
From the main round-about in Town, travel down the main street, in the direction of Invercargill. Once you have left the shopping area come into a 70Km zone. On your right is a Shell Garage, Turn right at this corner, and we are on the right hand side of the road. Coming from Invercargill, as soon as you come into the 70km zone take the 1st street on your left, which is Charlton Road (has Shell garage on the corner), we are the motel on the right. |

Walk amoungst the beautiful Gardens and parks in the district and play golf at the local Golf course in quiet serene setting. Hokonui Museum and art gallery are worth a visit. Visit in February for the Hokinui Moonshiners festival or visit in June for the "Gold Guitar Awards" Being located in the centre of the lower part of the south island, Gore is a fabulous place to make your base, being close to Bluff, Te Anau, Milford Sounds, Queenstown and the famous Catlins coast. |
