At night, guests are provided with a FREE PASS to a neighboring hostel's party lounge that becomes a club scene for the youth that stay in hostels in NYC. We also have ATM and vending machines for your convenience. Do not be shy; you can feed the vending machines at all times. | Getting There |
The hostel offers easy access to and from any location. Just steps from the 1 or 9 subway line, you are moments away to The "Worlds Famous Harlem" district or Times Square. From the Major airports you can take from JFK the A train to meet the 1 or 9 line uptown and exit at 103rd Street station, then walk down 1 block to 102nd Street, and 1 block west to West End Ave, we are of the corner. From LGA jump on the M60 bus and exit at Broadway and west 106th Street, then walk to 102nd street and follow the rest of the instructions. From the Port Authority walk to Times Square station and take the 1 or 9 line and follow the same instructions. From Penn Station again follow the 1 or 9 line uptown, and follow the instructions. Or just hop in a famous Yellow Cab. Driving directions from John F. Kennedy International Airport: From the airport, follow signs to the Van Wyck Expwy/I-678 heading west and drive for approximately 6 miles. At Exit 10 on I-678, turn off onto the ramp and take the Grand Central Pkwy heading west for 6.5 miles, then continue heading east on I-278 (toll road). Take I-278 across the Triborough Bridge and continue west on E 125th St/Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Turn left onto Broadway and then continue south on West End Ave; the hotel is located at 850 West End Ave. |
