|Check In Instructions||
Check-in is available from 12 noon. Office hours are from 8.00am-6.00pm. If you plan to arrive after 6pm, please contact Russell Island B&B to organize details. Make sure your check-in time will correspond with passenger ferry/vehicular barge times.
Russell Island B&B is approximately 2kms from the ferry terminal. Drive up High Street, turn left at Police Station onto Canaipa Road. Drive along Canaipa Road, then turn right into Phoenix Street. Russel Island B&B is at the bottom of Phoenix Street (on Oasis Drive).
Oasis Drive is split into two parts with a grass section (of about 50 metres long)separating them. Maps and GPSs do not usually recognise this. The B&B is the first house on the second section of Oasis Drive (coming from the centre/ferry direction).
If you arrive by passenger ferry, your hosts can transfer you to and from the ferry terminal. You must confirm your ferry arrival time with your hosts prior to your departure.
Off-street parking available.
|Things To Do||
Within the jetty surrounds you will find local cafes, real estate agents, medical centre, art shops, liquor store and supermarket.
Close by there are two clubs, the RSL and the Bowls Club, both of which have frequent courtesy buses.
Lions Park provides a lovely picnic area with tables, electric BBQs and even a small beach to enjoy. Lions Park is located on the South East corner of Russell Island.
More than two thirds of Russell Island are conservation and wetland areas. We recommend exploring these areas at your own leisure and discover our slice of paradise.
