Business FacilitiesThe Green RoomFollowing a three month, near million dollar renovation, The Green Room was opened in November 2004. Built on the site of the former Rock Night Club and stealing floor space from front reception and the front bar, The Green Room is a state of the art conference facility by day and Toowoomba’s first non-smoking night club Fridays and Saturdays from around 10pm. Available for both professional and private hire, The Green Room in its short history has been home to numerous corporate events, conferences, training sessions, business dinners, weddings, engagement parties, and birthday celebrations. The Green Room has also allowed The Shamrock Hotel Motel to host a variety of promotional events since it was opened including the very successful “Dancing By Candlelight” series and numerous sports model searches. The Green Room was developed with all the latest facilities and modern design concepts. These include marble effect bar, suede feature wall, and state of the art audio and visual technologies . The Green Room can seat parties up to 175 guests whilst its true soul lies in the ambience that is so easily created. Whatever the occasion, whatever the mood, The Green Room is the venue for you. Feel free to inspect The Green Room yourself! Function packages can be acquired through the office. If you are not sure what type of function you’re looking for, one of our packages will help get you started. We have packages for General Functions (e.g.: birthday, Christmas and engagement parties), as well as Conferences and Business Workshops, and Wedding Receptions. However, the Shamrock Hotel Motel prides itself on maintaining a strong element of flexibility when it comes to organising any function. If you have something specific in mind, let us know and we’ll make it happen. Hot Night Spot From 10pm every Friday and Saturday night, (depending on private functions) the Green Room transforms into one of Toowoomba’s hottest night clubs with light shows, DJs, plasma screens and dance music. However, it’s been designed with our motel guests in mind – double-bricked walls and double-glazed windows means you won’t be disturbed.Promotions & Events Our promotional events calendar is organised three months at a time, so if you stay frequently, pick up a flyer from reception to see what’s coming soon! Further, we are always interested to hear new promotional ideas from companies keen to get that little bit of extra exposure.
