A modern complex with 22 levels of one and two-bedroom serviced apartments. Apartments are let on a daily, weekly and even long-term on a monthly basis. All apartments have unlimited wireless Broadband Internet access (fee), at least one large balcony and sweeping views of the city centre, Spring Hill and Chinatown. Location. Location. Location: Republic Apartments is directly above Spring Hill Shopping Centre, which includes the local Woolworths, Baker’s Delight, Amcal Chemist, Subway, Nokia Care Centre, Turbot Street Newsagency, Vintage Cellars, the award-winning Tognini’s Bistro Cafe Deli plus several other outlets, including the Spring Hill Dental Clinic! The best of city life: To the East, just a short 300mtr walk, are the Story Bridge, Brisbane River, Chinatown's restaurants and night clubs and chic James Street in Fortitude Valley. To the South, a few minutes walk is the Queen Street Mall, Central Rail Station, theatres in Southbank Parklands and the City Centre. To the east is the Riverside Market, held each weekend and the City Cat ferries. The area is ideal and picturesque for walkers and joggers. An easy 2km jog across the Story Bridge and back, or 3kms return to the Botanic Gardens along Riverside Walk. (Highly recommended is the "Hot Italian Chocolate" at the Boardwalk Bar & Bistro!) Guest facilities & services: An undercover outdoor heated lap pool, spa, a large air-conditioned gymnasium (all on the 5th floor with city views), and 2 x 20-person hi-speed lifts. A security fob is required to call all lifts, as well as to enter all car park and accommodation levels - ensuring a feeling of total calm, privacy and security within the building. Wireless broadband Internet is available in all apartments and throughout the building (fee). Day tours can be booked at Reception during office hours. Apartment facilities: All modern apartments have an ensuite with shower/bath, 32" (81cm) LCD TVs and DVD player, IDD phone with ability to take messages and be called direct bypassing the switchboard, air-conditioning/heating, ceiling fan, a large balcony with great views, bedside radio / alarm clock, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, full kitchen set-up including a large refrigerator, microwave and a dishwasher. Laundry includes a washing machine, dryer & ironing facilities etc. A same-day laundry and dry cleaning service is also available Monday to Friday. (If staying more than one night please note that rates quoted include a 'service' every fifth day, or once a week if staying on a monthly basis. Additional services are available for a moderate fee.) BY CAR: Drive down Turbot Street, which is a one-way street, in the right-hand lane past the Sofitel and Novotel Hotels. Cross Wharf Street then turn right into Raff Street and turn sharp left into the first driveway - you will be turning into the Republic Apartments' Visitor Parking area. If no Visitor Bay is available then the Loading Bay in the same area should be free, to park temporarily while you check-in. Please note that you will need to walk around to the main entrance, at the front of the building, in Turbot Street. BY TRAIN: From Brisbane's Central Station walk the 300 metres down Turbot Street which is a one-way street (in the same direction with the traffic) toward Chinatown, or take a taxi. FROM BRISBANE AIRPORT: A 14kms (approx. $40) taxi ride will take no more than 25 minutes, even allowing for some traffic. Or, $10.00 per person by Air-train to Central Rail Station. If further directions are required during business hours please call Republic Apartments direct. |

Secure under cover off-street parking is available on Levels P1 to P4. Please park in a Visitor Bay on the ground floor while checking-in. FREE car park guaranteed for Wotif guests, so if a car park is required please make this request when booking.
