The Arkana Motel offers three and a half star, air-conditioned accommodation in Maryborough. The motel is situated on the south-side of town opposite Red Rooster. Conveniently located minutes from the city centre, the Arkana Motel is the perfect base to explore the Fraser Coast. The staff at Arkana Motel pride themselves on giving their guests quality, friendly service in an exceptionally clean and comfortable environment. There are 30 standard, deluxe and family rooms all situated on the ground floor with ample parking right outside your door. Ideal for holiday makers, coach groups and business people. The Arkana Motel facilities include a licensed restaurant, bar, function/conference room, tour desk, swimming pool with barbecue area, guest laundry, carwash and bus/truck parking. All rooms feature an ensuite bathroom, air-conditioning, heating, refrigerator, direct dial telephone, tea and coffee making facilities, clock radio, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, in-house movies and free Austar television. The Arkana Motel can provide you with a beautifully cooked breakfast as well as snacks and evening meals in the licensed restaurant or delivered right to your room. Fully organised tours to Maryborough are also offered to experience the charm of a bygone era. | Things To Do |
Maryborough Heritage Markets every Thursday. Ride the Mary Ann steam train each Thursday and the last Sunday of the month. Visit the Military and Colonial Museum, Customs House or Bond store in the Portside Precinct. Step back in time when you visit Brennan and Geraghty's store Museum, complete with stock dating back to the 1890's. Take a bus tour and discover the history of Maryborough with Maryborough Tours. See the city's wonderful old buildings with a walking or self drive tour. Take a river cruise down the Mary River. Ghostly Tours and Tales operates Saturday night on the last full weekend of each month. Bookings essential. Queens Park is a beautiful park for walking or just relaxing. |
