Truly one of Brisbane's most popular city properties, The Soho offers affordable rates and a fantastic location opposite the beautiful Roma Street Parkland, right in the Wickham Terrace medical precinct and just a short 5 minute stroll to the heart of the city, with the Roma Street Transit Centre only a 400 metre walk away through the Parkland. Each of our rooms, though not large, are comfortable and well appointed, opening onto their own individual balcony. Some in-room features include individually controlled reverse-cycle air conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities, refrigerator, 51cm remote TVs with free movie channel, direct dial phones with voice mail, modem connection and free wireless broadband. Start the day off with a selection from our extensive a'la carte breakfast menu, with a hot cooked breakfast only $10. At the end of the day unwind at the bar and relax in our restaurant (dinner Monday to Thursday), enjoying a meal from our extensive a'la carte menu, or if you prefer, take advantage of the full menu room service in the privacy of your own room. If you decide to bring a car, we offer complimentary under cover and off-street parking, subject to car space availability. Guests will be asked to present their credit card upon arrival for pre-authorisation to cover any incidental charges incurred during their stay. | Getting There |
Please Note: Guests must check in by 9pm at the latest. After hour check ins are not available. Walking from the Roma Street Transit Centre, go to Platfrom 10 of the train station. Cross the road at the pedestrian crossing and take the escalator up into the Roma Street Parkland. At the top of the escalator walk straight ahead up the ramp to the Parkland entrance. Turn left onto the footpath and walk up Albert Street to the traffic lights. The Soho is on the corner of Albert Street and Wickham Terrace. Driving into Brisbane from the north, follow the Bruce Highway onto Gympie Road, which becomes Lutwyche Road then Bowen Bridge Road. Turn right from Bowen Bridge Road into Gregory Terrace, then left at the end. Turn right at the next traffic lights into Wickham Terrace and drive down the hill, turning left at the Give Way sign. The Soho is the second building on the left. Driving into Brisbane from the south, follow the M1 Motorway onto the Riverside Expressway. Take the Turbot Street exit on your right off the expressway. Turn left at the second traffic lights into Upper Albert Street. Turn right at the next traffic lights into Wickham Terrace. The Soho is the second building on the left. Driving from the airport, follow the 'City/Kingsford Smith Drive' signs along Airport Drive. Follow Kingsford Smith Drive onto Breakfast Creek Road which becomes Ann Street. Turn right at traffic lights into Creek Street. As you drive up Creek Street, follow the road left onto Wickham Terrace. The Soho is on your right just before the second set of traffic lights. From the airport catch the Skytrans Shuttle ($14pp one way), which will set down right at the door. We can also arrange Skytrans return pick ups to the airport. Alternatively, catch the AirTrain $14pp one way) to Roma Street Transit Centre and walk 400m up through the Parkland to The Soho. For those who prefer a taxi, fare to the door is around $40. |

Under cover and off-street parking is complimentary. All parking is subject to car space availability. Upon arrival, simply park in the 'Passenger Zone' located directly outside the Soho while you check in. Please provide the vehicle registration number to reception upon check in. |
| Things To Do |
Full tour desk services are available at The Soho with transfers to all major theme parks, including Australia Zoo and Tangalooma Wild Dolphin Resort, the Gold Coast Hinterland and Sunshine Coast, with tours picking up and setting down at the door. Take a City Sights Tour around Brisbane, getting on and off at the points of interest as often as you like during the day, perhaps stopping at Chinatown for lunch. Present the same ticket and experience the Brisbane River for free on the CityCat service, which operates until late at night. Catch the CityCat up to the University of Queensland at one end, and Bretts Wharf at Racecourse Road at the other end, where you can enjoy the coffee shops and cosmopolitan atmosphere. We're also just a short stroll from the CBD, Queen Street Mall shopping precinct and Queens Plaza, Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, Treasury Casino, Performing Arts Complex, Queensland Museum, South Bank Parkland and Riverside weekend markets. With friendly guidance from our experienced staff, spend a day or two enjoying all that Brisbane has to offer right at our front door. |
