| Getting There |
Rotorua International Airport is approx 25km from the Lodge (about 30 minutes by car). There is no public transport available and we recommend guests have their own transport to reach our rural location. We are unable to offer guests a transfer service. Head south out of Rotorua towards Taupo and turn right onto Highway 30, signposted to Te Kuiti. Approximately 13km along the Highway, take the second turn into Apirana Road and we are the third gate on the left. |

| Things To Do |
At the Lodge, we offer archery and clay pigeon shooting (with instructions) and free use of two mountain bikes. The fabulous Waikite thermal hot pools are only 15 minutes drive away. Nearby Rotorua and Taupo hosts a range of activities from Maori cultural centres to thermal parks and all the adrenalin fuelled activities you could wish for. There is a great choice of restaurants, bars and cafes to suit all tastes. - Boat trips on all the local Lakes - Helicopter and floatplane tours to White Island - World class mountain biking tracks or go for a walk in the nearby Redwoods Whakarewarewa Forest - Thermal Parks - Gondola rides - Luge track at Skyline - Off road 4WD adventure with Off Road New Zealand. - Sky diving and bungy jumping - White water rafting adventures - Rotorua Museum - We have many art galleries in Rotorua such as Te Raukura – The Red Feather Gallery, The Garden Art Gallery and Red Spot Gallery.
