| Getting There |
From the airport - Shuttle buses and taxi's operate 24 hours to and from the airport and the motel. Shuttle Buses are minivans with the taxi's, cost approximately NZ$28.00 per person & NZ$ 35.00 for two people. (Extra person $ 6.00). Shuttle travel time is approx 1 hour. Taxis cost approximately NZ$60.00 (check with the driver as they are metered, this depends on the time of day) travel time approximately 30 minutes. By car - Take the Port exit from the Northern / Southern Motorway. Turn right at the second set of traffic lights, into Parnell Rise. This leads into Parnell Road. We are about 3/4 of the way up Parnell Road on the left hand side. Look for the tall norfolk pine tree in the middle of the "Eternity Cafe" take the uphill side driveway. We are opposite the Chocolate shop. If you are coming in by bus or train you can get to us by the Link bus, this does a loop around town every 10 - 15 minutes. If you have much luggage you will probably find it more convenient to jump in a taxi, it costs about NZ$9.00 from the town centre depending on the time of day |

We have limited free off street parking available - there are 10 parking bays for 16 rooms, its run on a "first come first served" basis. We find it isn't usually a problem as not everyone brings cars and there is free parking on the road from 6:00pm to 8:00am and all day on Sunday and public holidays. |

You'll find several of the country’s top-rated restaurants, famous fashion designers, Auckland’s largest art gallery precinct - featuring iconic and rising New Zealand artists, unique boutique arts and souvenirs - great cafes and bars, beautiful jewellery, stunning home decor, places to be pampered at and many more places to shop. For a change of pace, go back in time and explore the historic side of Parnell, Auckland’s oldest suburb. Stroll through our neighbourhood and discover the many significant examples of 19th century architecture that dot the landscape, or through the Domain to the renowned Auckland Museum and winter gardens. Or stroll over and take in the stunning Parnell Rose Gardens overlooking Auckland Harbour. We are less than 1 km, approx 15 min walk from the Vector Arena, the link bus stops close to Parnell Inn and the Vector Arena. We are 1 block below the Auckland Cathedral and St Mary's Church. The Newmarket olympic size swimming pools are 15 minutes walk away. Auckland Hospital is approx 30 minutes walk away on the other side of the Auckland Domain. All are on the Link Bus Route. All this to enjoy, and only a short bus ride from Downtown and everything else Auckland has to offer. |
