Queens Park Motels are a 4 star rated motel consisting of 6 x studios, 2 x one bedroom and 6 x 2 bedroom units : Situated off the main roads in a quiet peaceful residential area. : Three minutes drive into inner city. :The units are all self contained,non smoking, spacious, clean and tidy. : Studio units all have queens beds, new carpet and mirowaves. : 2 bedroom units some of which have baths and king beds have full kitchen facilities including a stove and microwave. : Suitable for larger families and groups. : Flat screen Tvs in all main bedrooms. : One bedroom have full kitchens including a stove and mircowave. : Cooked and continental breakfasts are served to your unit and we also have charge back facilities to restaurants : Some of the units have carports, and there is ample off the street parking. : New cots and highchairs and have access next to the school exercise area and park playground. : Most units have DVD players with free access to to a DVD library as well as wireless internet to all rooms. :5 channel digital Sky Tv. : Guest laundry is available with free washing facilities and clothes line provided. ; Ideal for larger sports and cultural groups. |

| Getting There |
Driving South from Queenstown, travel along State Highway 6, or from Riverton on State Highway 99 from Riverton to North road and then continue onto Dee Street Take a left turn into Alice street, cross over Kelvin Street and Queen Park motels are right at the end of Alice Street. From Dunedin, Travel along State Highway one to Tay street and turn right at the 1st set of Traffic lights. Travel through two more sets of lights on Queens Drive. Turn left at the roundabout with Herbert Street, turn left into Kelvin street and then left into Alice street. From the Information centre(bus passengers)please advise of pickup requirements on booking. |

| Things To Do |
Walk and experience the wonderful Queens Park Gardens,run the fitness and/or walking tracks. We have a complete map in our brochure of Queens Park. As we are next to the Golf Club we hire golf clubs out and we can supply information on all Southland golf courses. Stadium Southland and the cycling veledrome are some of the best sporting facilities in New Zealand and we are only five minutes drive away. The museum with its tuatara lizards, art gallery and information centre are well worth visiting Invercargill is the half way stop for visitors on the famed Scenic route whether the start is from Balclutha or from Milford.The Catlins area from the Balclutha end is amongst the 10 most must do trips as promoted by AA. We have a book on the catlins history which guests can read. We are also booking agents for Real Journeys and can book trips and accommodation for travellers who wish to go to Stewart Island. Having been on this trip I can assure travellers that on a good day it is a wonderful experience. We are close to a wide selection of shops,cafes, bars and restaurants with chargeback facilities. From Invercargill you can drive to Riverton, Te Anau, Queenstown, Te Anau and Milford Sound,and Central Otago. Queens Park Motels is the ideal place to sit, unwind and relax for a few days. |
