The Rossetti Bar is intimate: the coffee lounge relaxing: the Wellington Restaurant welcoming - and the food is delicious. All of our 164 tastefully decorated bedrooms now offer en-suite bathrooms, colour television, direct dial telephone, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. For our business clientele we can also offer one of our highly prestigious executive bedrooms with in-house movies and ironing facilities. The Blakemore Hotel enjoys a quiet yet central location, just minutes from the oasis of Hyde Park, the hubbub of Queensway - shopping mall, restaurants and Portobello Road's famous antique market. | Getting There |
Main tube and bus links are within easy reach of the hotel. Queensway Tube (Central Line) and Bayswater (Circle & District Line) are both located just five minutes walk from the hotel on Queensway. The number 12 and Number 94 bus service Byswater Road and again this located less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Travelling from Heathrow Airport has been improved vastly with the introduction of the Heathrow - Paddington rail link which takes only 15 minutes straight into Paddington. You can then either take the tube from Paddington (Circle Line) straight to Bayswater of jump in a taxi whcih will take no longer than 10 minutes and should cost approximately £5.00. Travelling from Gatwick Airport can be done on the Gatwick express train straight into London Victoria (the train takes 30 minutes). Then you can either take the tube from Victoria (Circle Line) straight to Bayswater or jump in a taxi which will take approximately 20 minutes and cost approximately £12.00. |

The hotel does not have its own car park but there are several NCP car parks located close by on both Queensway and Porchester Terrace. The cost for a 24 hour stay is approximately £20.00, but each car park charges differently. |

Kensington Palace is located just 10 minutes walk from the hotel in the beautiful Kensington Gardens adjacent to Hyde Park. For the shopaholics Oxford Street and Knightsbridge are both very close to the hotel and are just a short taxi ride or for the more energetic a brisk walk away. The thrill of Londons nightlife with its restaurants and theatres are located a short tube ride away or Queensway which is 5 minutes walk from the hotel offers a host of restaurants and shops and cinemas. |
