From Airport To Hotel: By Train (MRT) - Operates from 0600hrs to 2400hrs daily : Board the train at Changi Airport Station (CG2 -Terminal 2) and alight at Paya Lebar MRT Station (EW8). The train journey takes about 15 mins and costs S$1.60 per person. The hotel is about 15 to 20 mins by walk from the train station. By Taxi : The journey is about 20 mins and costs about S$15 per trip (Excluding surcharges). |

Joo Chiat is situated in a residential conservation area which is also near to the Malay community hub. Explore the rich heritage of Singapore at the Malay Cultural Village, located at Geylang Serai, which is the cultural heart of the Malay community in Singapore. Admire the architecture of the Joo Chiat shophouses for this area is gazetted as a conservation district. The colourful Peranakan culture and influence can be seen in the distinctively styled shophouses and terrace houses. Savour exquisite cuisine, especially the famous laksa in the nearby Katong area. Further from Katong is East Coast Park. Work up a sweat on the bike or on rollerblades, readily available for hire. There is also a bowling alley, golf driving range, tennis complexes, a watersports centre and the East Coast Sailing Centre. And don’t forget to end the day with a lip-smacking feast of chili crab at a seafood restaurant by the beach! |
