Welcome to Rossmount Rural Retreat, 35 acres of rolling hills, where you can learn about and taste exotic fruits, canoe in our beautiful lake, fish and quietly watch and wait for glimpses of the shy platypus. Enjoy our beautiful birds and abundant wildlife and wander our bushtrails. Let us shower you with country hospitality! We are situated midway between Noosa, Tin Can Bay and Rainbow Beach on the main Tin Can Bay Road. We can arrange an early breakfast if you wish to feed the dolphins, or you can just relax. |

Platform queen size bed level with the window and looking at the stunning rural views. Green and mauve themed queen size room with bathroom and attached single bedroom containing a bunk bed and a single bed. Rates are for 2 people. Extra adults $35.00. Extra children $25.00. The room caters for a maximum of 2 adults, and a maximum of 3 children but cannot exceed 5 guests in total. Available bedding configurations:

| Getting There |
By Air - To Brisbane or Sunshine Coast (Maroochy Airport). By Road - Bruce Highway to the southern outskirts of Gympie. Take signs pointing to Brisbane Road, Highway 15, to Tin Can Bay, Rainbow Beach and Fraser Island. Approximately 16 kilometres along this road it becomes three lanes and at the bottom of this hill is the Burns Road turn off. On the left hand side of the road it is sign posted Burns Road, Nursery, B&B 300 m. Burns Road accesses two properties and you take the right swerve in the road and drive up the hill to the parking area on the right. By Train - To Gympie North Railway Station - pick up can be arranged prior to arrival. By Bus - To Gympie Bus Station - pick up can be arranged prior to arrival. |

| Things To Do |
Early morning or late evening viewing of the platypus. Wandering the bushtrails, eating from the exotic orchards, fishing, canoeing or chilling out. Early morning feeding of the dolphins at Tin Can Bay. Enjoy the Carlo Sandblow, right at the highest point of Rainbow Beach, marvel at the colour sands. Leave the highway, go through the back bush roads to the Eumundi Market. Visit the Gympie Gold Mining Museum. Visit the Forestry Museum. Visit local markets. |
