In the wonderful square of Amalfi, a short distance from the sea front and the beach. The Hotel Fontana offers a mixture of elegance and familiarity. With its 21 rooms, 3 suites, the polite staff and professional services, the Hotel Fontana is the ideal solution for those wanting a holiday by the sea and sun, for a honeymoon or for a regenerating week in the Amalfi Coast. All rooms have a private bathroom equipped with a hairdryer, Sat-TV, heating and air conditioning which can be regulated from the room, a direct telephone, mini bar, and the hotel has car parking facilities. Most of the rooms offer either a view of the marvellous square with its magnificent Duomo or a view of the clear sea which is characteristic of this coast. For those wanting a fairytale holiday we have three suites available, wonderfully furnished with all modern comfort amongst which are a shower with hydro massage and a personal sauna. Breakfast is American style and is served as a buffet in the breakfast room or, directly in your room on request. There is nothing better than an aperitif in the square, or breakfast at our exclusive bar "Doge di Amalfi" situated behind the fountain "del Popolo" which has quenched the thirst of many a local and tourist over the centuries. We have a wide range of cocktails and drinks, local and international wines, and Limoncello. The Doge di Amalfi is also a rotisserie and snack bar: try our delicious cakes, ice-creams and lemon specialities. |

BY CAR: if you are driving from Rome or Naples, follow directions for motorway A3 in direction of Salerno. On A3 take exit Vietri sul Mare, following signs for Amalfi and you will be find the hotel in the main square of the town. Approximate journey time 1 ½ hours. BY PLANE: Naples is the nearest airport well connected with Rome, Milan, Venice, London, Paris and Frankfurt. | Parking |
The Hotel Has an agreement with a garage. It's covered and secured and the price is of € 18.00 per 24 hours. When guests arrive in Amalfi, receptionist will phone to parker and he will take the car. During the stay when guest want to have their car, they can ask to receptionist and in 10 minutes it arrive near the hotel. |
