| Getting There |
Travelling from the south, follow the M1 Motorway onto the Riverside Expressway. Take the Turbot Street exit on your right off the expressway, turn left at the third traffic lights into Upper Edward Street, continue up the hill through to the second set of traffic lights, and there we are. Car park is in Little Edward Street, under the motel. Travelling from the north, follow the Bruce Highway onto Gympie Road which becomes Lutwych/Bowen Bridge Road. Turn right from Bowen Bridge Road into Gregory Terrace, then left at the end. Follow the Leichhardt Street to second set of traffic lights, and there we are. Car park in Little Edward Street, under the motel. From the Central Street Station walk up Leichhardt Street. From the airport catch the Skytrans Shuttle, which will set down at the door. Alternatively, catch the AirTrain to Central Street Station. Airtain operate frequent services from Brisbane Airport into Brisbane City, be in the heart of Brisbane in only 20 minutes. |

Full tour desk services are available at The Metropolitan Motor Inn with booking of transfers to all major theme parks, including Australia Zoo, Alma Park Zoo, Tangalooma Wild Dolphin Resort, the Gold Coast Hinterland and Sunshine Coast, with tours picking up at the door. Take a City Sights Tour around Brisbane, getting on and off at the points of interest as often as you like, stopping at colourful Chinatown, in the heart of multicultural Brisbane. Present the same ticket and experience the Brisbane River for free using the CityCat service, which operates until late at night. Catch the CityCat up to Lone Pine Sanctuary, the oldest and biggest koala haven in the world. We're also just a short stroll to the CBD, Queen Street Mall, Treasury Casino, Convention Centre, Performing Arts Centre, Queensland Museum, South Bank Parklands and craft markets every Sunday at Eagle Street Pier. |
